Project AWARE Foundation is the diving industry's leading nonprofit organization conserving underwater environments through education, advocacy and action.

With the support of divers and dive professionals, Project AWARE stimulates public awareness and inspires actions to protect aquatic resources. Project AWARE Foundation knows that divers make some of the best scientists and volunteers.

Divers are passionate about the underwater world and have the unique skills to make a difference. They're also active in conservation issues and can provide a picture of environmental issues that often remain "out of sight, out of mind" to the general public.

earthdive provides divers a unique, hands-on opportunity to make a real difference for global conservation issues. Now, environmental concerns and underwater sightings can be captured on earthdive's Global Dive Log as part of a worldwide call to action.

Project AWARE Foundation is a 501 c (3) nonprofit organization whose initiatives include global public awareness and education campaigns such as Protect the Living Reef, Protect the Sharks and AWARE Kids; environmental activities and programs including International Cleanup Day and Dive In To Earth Day and support for conservation projects through its Grant Program.
