The famous shadow reef – a cleaning station for big fish! Dropped onto the reef and immediately saw a Manta. It came in and swooped twice to pick its spot but too many divers chased it off.

I really wish people would be considerate – not of other divers but of the magnificent animal’s habit. It went away. Finned along reef left shoulder. Lovely hard and soft corals. Huge shoal of fusileers and top of the reef. Counted 3 large groupers over 30 mins at between 10 and 20m. Nice white tip reef shark under table coral.

Really nice dive!

Rolled off chase boat tender from MV WAOW onto a coral encrusted shelf by a vertical wall. Gradual slope to a 30m bottom. Nice mantis shrimps, 2 octopi, chrinoids, orangutang crabs (x2), pygmy seahorse on seafan. Big bumphead parrotfish, yellow/green moray, 2 shrimp gobies and a baby lobster. Dolphins on entry but not in water.

Jumped off back of dive boat and finned S/E to pinnacles. Finned around lovely corals and coral heads with fusion of Anthias. 2 big lionfish; bannerfish and other reef fish. Finned back to main reef and found huge green turtle with 2 remoreas and stonefish on move. Flounder, black sturgeon fish feeding on coral. Lovely topography. Finished dive under boat. Lovely dive!

Last dive of this trip. Dropped of Dhoni in big swell. Couldn’t see reef at first – bad viz on surface from plankton. Finned towards reef and then left shoulder to 25m depth. White tip reef shark, Napoleon Wrasse, Shooling snappers. Mostly hard corals and good reef life nearer surface 8-5m. Nice Dive

Really nice dive! Current wa quite strong so we drifted with it along a reef wall. The bottom was sandy with small coral outcrops. Lots of fish and we saw 2 giant lobsters inside a piece of coral. Saw a Southern Senet – looks a bit like a baracuda and also saw two turtles. Record dive 67 mins!! Loved it and oh yeah… also saw a spotted eagle ray out in the blue – looked amazing!

Jumped off the Zodiac and decended to 30m quite quickly. Drift Dive. Extra kilo really helped and mask fitted better – so much better than breathing salt water!!

Nice Shore Dive. Can’t remember the name though! Quite a lot of coral and reef fish. Quick dive.. must work out!… my air consumption is crap!

Dolphin House, Red Sea. 3rd Part of PADI Advanced course and this is the multi-level dive. Spotted a Reef Shark, Napolean Wrasse, Marble Ray and many other Reef Fish. Great Dive!

Snorkeled with about 10 others (Italians, French, Russians and English) with more than 200 dolphins. We just kept still on the surface and they swam right past. Breathtaking!
